Finished _all_ the windows and stuff for DiGiT. Now all it needs are cursors, but these can be done at a later date.
I finally lost the battle against my conversion instinct. Yesterday evening, I dug out that recently purchased box of Storm Claws a the few bitz left in my bitz box and began converting. So came to existence the test miniature for Iron Angel armor. I have a lot of trouble with the left arm, tho (that's because of the pose I intended for the miniature). I've used the following bitz: -SM helmet (any will do, I decided to use one of mark 7 ones) with all of the faceplate detail cut/filed off, leaving only the eyes. This will be built over with GS later. -SM Mark VI legs. They have the clunky "heavy armor" look I wanted to achieve on the mini. -SM torso, the "skull&rivets" chestplate. -CSM right Bolter arm -CSM left Chainsword arm with Chainsword removed (the one bent at 90 degrees on the elbow) -SM shoulderpad (any will do here) on right arm -CSM shoulderpad (one with the armored ridge) on left arm -CSM backpack (the "wings" cut off and the vanes placed as in normal Marine backpacks) -CSM Bolter (one of those with chain-fed ammunition) Now a few final fixes and he'll be ready for painting. Tell you what, it felt great to get glue on my fingers again.

Apologies for the poor pictures, according to Jimbos valuable guide I think I did absolutly everything wrong ? |
Don't feel bad. Based on Jimbo's site, I do everything wrong too.
But you know what? Jimbo is right. ?

Hi,
Well I've had an interesting evening, with a local factory about a mile behind my house exploding(!!!) and pouring a huge black plume of smoke across the whole neighbourhood. Turns out it was a meat/food processor, so lots of fat and grease to burn. I've got a few pics which I'll try to download tomorrow.
Cheers, Freshmetal

Nice work J, the red nightwings remind me of fire dragons with their fangs beared(sp?). Well I've expanded my crusade force to bring it up to compnay strength.
