WoW! You make him look worthy of the pricetag mate! Fantastic detailing, I can wait to see him with the rest of his buddies alltogether. Thanks for sharing:)

Dont you just love the excitment of starting a whole new force? ?
I've now finished the first part of my new Chaos Army, which is an 8 stand detachment of CSMs with their Rhinos. ?I've gone with the Word Bearers because despite not having an EA Army List, I like their fluff (unholy Zealots!) and because I dont know of anyone who has done one before.

This phot is a little better.
BTW the silver thing is a Mighty Empires mini that L4 put me onto, which will be the Word Beaer's Chaos Altar - whats the best way of painting it so that it looks all slimy with fresh blood and gore ?

Hi!
The mighty empires necropolis has so many good uses. If I recollect it was a piece used for the "abominatus" chaos emperor class titan too.

yep thats right Primarch, I have it on my version of Abominatus. I finished the first stand of Power Armour Grey Knights and will put it up after I have come back from buying some bits... The Termie will be tomorrow as I didnt have time last night. I painted the 15 other GK too various stages to take photos which come out a lot better in the normal daylight

Tas: Those CSM look great and the Necropolis is a great idea for the Chaos Altar.
Cheers!

Tas, try earth brown, overall, followed by white on the areas where you want fresh blood, followed by bright red over the white; and top eveything with thock matt varnish, with thicker, glossvarnish over the bright red areas.

I can't wait to see a full force from you Doug! Keep up the good work!
Today I assembeled some of the Squats I have been stripping for the past week. Needless to say, even in an unpainted stage, they look good! I want more!
Hopefully pics tomorrow...
