[quote="MaksimSmelchak,25 June 2006 (00:21)"]Please tell us more about what and how you converted it...

Hi,
@Maksim, I'll try to do a tutorial but I only have a few pics of WIP

I did a few minis today just to see how long it would take to do a force and I think I did these in good time(prep, mount, primer, paint = 15 mins) I would take longer in painting next time, as you can see on the razorback it does look rushed.

Nice alternative for the Ultras, though - good work :D :D :D

Assembled some 15mm LAV-150 APCs. I have also assembled the main body for some M113s.

Had word sent that my painted troops has just gone up, so I will be picking them up ASAP.  :D

In any case, life is good!

I'm painting my second entry for the Gothic Competition. It goes really well. Colour scheme looks good.

But why oh why did I choose white?

Don't worry, the closing date will most likely be pushed back a little I think.

Yesterday I was in the mood do some gluing, so I decided to base up some things which have taking up space on my workbench, specifically 5 tarantulas, 11 AT era mole mortars (the ones with the Marine attached), 5 tinbotz, 2 Eldar knights, 5 paladins (old skool) and 1 warden. I also assembled a skullhamma, a tempest and continued assembling an OOP Gargant. Given the multiple parts of the old Gargant, I prefer to assemble it a little at a time. Also, I leave the weapons off to make them (and the Gagrant) easier to paint.

Sounds like a very good day. Got a lot done!

The only bad thing was that I didn't mix the epoxy quite well enough the first time around. So, only about half the stuff dried properly and I had to redo the rest. Unfortunately I have no one to blame but myself.  :p Even with this stuff based, I still have plenty in reserve in case it rains on the International Special Projects Day.

Oh yeah, I managed to get a little painting in, too. I tell you, I really have to be in the right mood to paint infantry.  :D  Yesterday wasn't it, so I worked on my Titan weapons and heads.

Not sure if this is the kind of thing you're looking for, but Vermis & I (mostly Vermis) have been working on converting the Lizardmen from WFB to Epic:A.

Not as ridiculous as most might think.  It's going quite nicely.

Could use the expertise of some old skool veterans for fluff related to the Old Ones, the Slann or Slanni in 40k.

Also some E:A rules lawyers would be good.  This is def. my  biggest weak point (I'm just an idea man) and more than one perspective is always helpful.

If anybody wants to help or just gawk, it's under the Epic: Armageddon rules section, topic title "E:A  Rise of the Dracon"

Yep, this thread is a general "What have you been working on" and does not have any big restrictions to it. Pictures of miniatures are always incouraged though.  :;):

Had quite the surprise today.  Got my two 40k FW Broadsides and IA4, and got the Infinity Yu Jing starter box from Neal @ the Warstore.

My Tau ESWAT is getting closer to completion.

Also have a bit of a chuckle to relate.  My parents were packing to go camping for a couple days, and grabbed the Calphalon griddle.   ???  :O

Ok, it is one that's warped, but still!  How decadent are you when your 'beat-up' camping cookware is Calphalon!??!??

Lion, how is IA:4? It looks quite okay. Forgeworld should lower their prices so people with not that much money can afford them.
