Hi Tas,
I've emailed Patrick Sweeney for you mate. I think they were out for Summer vacation.
The good news is that the next supplement is abou to hit the streets. I helped put it togteher and while I haven't seen the final layout or the artwork yet, it is pretty cool:
From:
http://www.firefly-games.com/
"Battlegrounds: New York City is fresh out of layout and goes on sale next week for $2.95 here at our Online Store and via our friends at Ronin Arts on RPG Now, Drive-Through RPG, Paizo.com, and elsewhere. This 10-page PDF expansion for our Monster Island fighting games features the Big Apple in all its glory for your monster-smashing enjoyment."
"Inside Battlegrounds: New York City, you'll find:
- Details on the history and layout of New York City, including the five boroughs, Central Park, major rivers, and New York Harbor. Also, details on the history of the Big Apple in the world of Monster Island. - Twenty-two key buildings, including airports, skyscrapers, and a nuclear power plant. - Eight New York City landmarks, from the Brooklyn Bridge to the Empire State Building. - A new civilian unit for human armies ? the fire boat. - Four new key building types, such as the theater and church. - New rules for battles in the 1930s, including five brand-new human army units of the 1930s ? featuring biplanes and dirigibles!"
So now you can play King Kong, Beast from 20,0000 fathoms, Godzilla (US version) and many more! |
Thanks for everything!
I'm trying to help John and Daniel get copies of the game.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Quote (Tas @ 28 2005 June,05:44) | You can get cheap Thomas the Tank Engine type versions for around $4-5!
Even more fun stomping on HIS stupid smiling face and then flaming it with "Godzilla Breath" | Some people dislike Barney, me, it was Thomas. I do not know why, but he was just annoying.

I've got my son at home sick today (sniffles, nothing major) We made popcorn, snuggled up on the couch (yanks read "sofa") and watched...
"The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms"
Excellent flick, though we did have to skip some "boring talking" bits and he was confused by the lack of colour (!) but great all the same. The only drawback is the single monster, so you dont get a kaiju v kaiju smackdown scene, but that was OK.
His favourite bit was "when the beast picked up that policeman and bit his whole head off and then ate him". I dont know where he gets such blood-thirstyness from...

Hhhmmm, adding up the training regime and this we obviously get a covert Khornate cult. Time to do some purging, methinks...
