Learning to sketch :S, done about twenty odd concepts now and am slowly improving!

Croquis (sp?) ? Nice one Tom... Though less so when it is the old fat ladies you have to draw... those can be a strain on the eyes... :p

Cheers! :)

It is ok - I keep a photo of the marshmallow man on my desk, then it is easy to copy the body and just come up with a unique head and later on add a floral dress.

Well for what seems like the longest time I've been working on my state exams. I finally finished them as of 12:30pm today and that means I can finally get down to some "real" business!
Tiny fighting men ago-go! I've about 40-50 armies lying around in their blisters or mail order bags that must be put together.
So myself and one of my buddies are going to do what everyone else seems to be doing, we're going to have a bash at setting up our own painting studio. Nothing fancy just a small selection of armies, squads to sell in the first couple of months. I like to think of it as my summer project. :)
I'll admit that the real driving force behind this is to actually paint and finish armies of our own. So I hope to be in the very near future showing some actual WIP pics.

A.

Some progress on two Battle Sisters that were laying on my workbench for a while. I did some excercize in painting asian skintones on one, and the result looks rather good. The recipe was:
-Bronzed Flesh+ some Elf Flesh for basecoat
-lot more Elf Flesh added for highlights
-large quantity of Pallid Flesh added to the mix for final highlights
-Bad Moon Yellow thinned to a wash consistency was applied to make the skin tone more yellowish
If everything goes right today, I'll have the two finished.

Been playing Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project. Quite resembled the classic Duke games to me. Fun.

I've made some progress on the programming front. And thus, a new version of TXT - Bloodrayne SCB converter is coming soon.
However, the pseudo-language I am using is of the idiot savant sort, and thus even while having a lot of functions useful for savegame editing, it does not have the ability to execute most rudimentary mathematical functions. So I have to go around it, coding large arrays of comparing the byte with all hte values from 00-FF range, followed by going to defined command blocks. Not hard, but boring and rather annoying.
So far I have put together the data detection module and am working on length recalculation one (neccesary, mind you!). Third will be the actual builder unit, which is going to be far simpler then the old one.

You know what? Yesterday we were moving the kittens and their mother into one of storage cells (there are three separate ones, attached to the side of garage). Some time later, the cats began to make a lot of noise. My mother went to check and found out that a hedgehog tried to get to them. Well, the stupid creature quickly learned to not cross her path...
And then we heard a scuttling from one of the _other_ cells. We checked inside, and...
Five more kittens!
Seems that Indy has found himself a girl, afterall  .
They also seem about a week older then Lara's children. Now I know why the cat was acting so strangely recent times...
