Nice familiar 'V', ah! shipyard yellow 'Natus, I like a lot, no accounting for taste is there? In the meantime I've been Mumaking, that is one big beastie.

I based ~40 common broods for my Nid force in in-column style over the weekend. Also built 3 biotitans (formerly heirodules, now heirophants) and primed pretty much everything for the army except the common broods.
I took pictures and intended to post them but no sooner did I get them taken than my wife wanted to take the kids to the zoo and take a bunch of pictures of them.
Soon, I promise!

Oh, I've also completely lost my mind. With some Feral Ork blisters I ordered, some orders prompted by the price change, a recent ebay auction and a recent bartertown deal, I think I've acquired another decent-sized ork army in the last week or so. That should push my Ork total well over 50,000 points unless my mental math is wrong.
Not quite a Primarch Load but still rather ridiculous in the grand scheme of things.

Nice Ordinatus, Van. I really like the color.

Well this weekend I tried to pull together some more stuff to have ready on the 9th. Some further scatter terrain and some more troops.
I did play with a small truck Daniel received ( see this thread ).
I also managed to get a summer cold of some sort. Hate these things.

No Epic painting unfortunately. But I did glue a whole load of Star Trek/Star Wars Micro Machines to proper black hex bases. My 5 Klingon Vor'Chas are currently a bit outgunned by 8 Imperator Star Destroyers!! Cheers

Realized I need more Epic bases ... DRM Infantry does not come with any ... Steve told me they are working on the problem ... And G/W wants $9.00 for 16 bases ?

What is even more interesting re Epic bases is on the epic online store section the bases are 16 for ?5, ie 31.25p each whereas in the accessories section you can get 4 for 60p, ie 15p each, over double the price in the same shop for the same thing, weird eh.

Hi,
I got a huge bag of bases from Kallistra for my WMA army. They're the same size as Epic (WM) bases, just with slightly rounded corners, and they're a lot cheaper. A bag of 50 for 4.80GBP. They also have larger bases perfect for super-heavies.
Cheers, Freshmetal

Thanks boyz !!! I have to check out that site, F/M ! I e-mailed Heritage in the US and asked about DRM bases on that site ... It is amazing that G/W continues to sabotage it's 6mm sales !

Hi,
@L4: No, they are just flat. They have a few bits of flash on them from their original sprue, but nothing you wouldn't get normally. I've just put one back-to-back with a Warmaster base too, and there is no size difference at all (this is the "small" ones on the site, the 20x40mm). The corners are slightly rounded, but not as much as you might think.
Cheers, Freshmetal

Found a few more items in a box I forgot about. So now my Vehicle horde has grown even larger for Friday's primering festival.

Got a count of my old RAFM Heavy Gear Tanks.
7 Northern Klemm tanks and 6 Southern Hunn tanks.
Put together the Klemms tonight and will try and put together the Hunn on Thursday Night. That would give me over 40 vehicles to primer on Frinday.
