Hey - what happened to the day of modelling stuff? Did I miss it?

Sorry V, thanks to my personal family situation I sort of lost track and did not promote it as I had wanted to do. ?

Please forgive.

dafrca

I was planning on doing my "day of gluing" last Sunday, May 6th. Both of my daughters were scheduled to work and my wife was in Maine with a friend. So, I figured I would have lots of free time. Unfortunately, I was sick as a dog that Sunday and got nothing done. ?

We'll have to try again to arrange it.

Yes, I will pick a day and promote it and get this "world wide" day(s) going with threads etc.

I will not forget the dream because I still have my days for the rest of the year set up.

Been a bit quiet here... so:

'We all lived in a yel-low Ordinatus....  :80: '

Well, these were the colours on the heavier vehicles at the shipyard where I used to work. Call me an old sentimental....

And one more for Confrontation! This   little chap is a familiar, but could be used as anything: chaos spawn, daemon, fantasy, SF, or even a sinister enemy of my Venetian VSF fleet! The green stuff is seaweed, by the way.
And, as I said, these miniatures just paint themselves  :D

Looks good to me. I mean the dust and grime could be from almost any world once the AM are done with them.  :;):

I like the idea that it is some Cthulhu like spawn.

Nice looking!

Thanks L-4. The beastie started off yellower than a smiley ? then I decided it wasn't exactly up to the L-4 criteria, so I messed it up and the result was what you can see.
Have fun with the DRM stuff ?:D ?

Dafrca, the dust and grime from forgeworld Malta Shipbuilding was really something... I still have fond memories of it ?:80: ?

ANd it seems that the little beastie has struck a Cthulhic chord here! I like it because (1) it's a fun model and (2) it has a wide variety of uses .

Thanks, Firestorm - heh, Primarch would just LOVE self-painting minis!
These Confrontation thingies have such crisp detail that they're really easy to paint reasonably well. Until you see their website paintjobs, that is... :p
