Hi Warmaster - I guess my Ad Mech boys will rise to the challenge - I don't know what it will look like yet, and it should come AFTER the Krawla, and it's not a competition entry - but I think I might build Ordinatus Sledghammer.....

Quote (TuffSkull @ 28 2004 Oct.,14:44) | For those reading Vol III who wanted detail shots of my Flames of War 15mm WWII Soviets, they're part of a large update at the Mercenary brush which has just gone online - Enjoy.....
FoW Soviets | really nice stuff
I have always been a fan of 15mm World War Two, though my era is mainly early World War Two and Operation Sealion

I've been working some more on the cityfight teerrain today. Also I've almost completed the Krawla. However I need to work out some way of representing the two Mega Choppas. I'm working on a few possibilities: 1) Simply add two Death Rollers to the front. -easy but a bit boring and it also makes the Krawla look like a giant sphinx. 2) Create some sort of a scratch built buzz saw. This will be very time consuming and I'm not sure the result will be worth it. 3) Some sort of Klawz. Same problems as the above.
What do you guys think? Or do you have other ideas?
Cheers!

I like rollers with spikes on them. I don't think it's boring at all.

Hi Warmaster,
1. SAW-TEETH: Try scrapped printer gears for saw-teeth...
2. CHOPPA: A choppa could be a burna-sort of thingy, using gun barrels - perhaps with cotton wool flames and smoke... Puff, the Magic Dragon...sorry, that's the flu typing.
3. KLAW: A simple claw can be made by cutting three hook shapes (I'd prefer angular, rather than curved) out of thick plasticard or scrap material and gluing all three on top of each other, with the middle one opposing the others, like a thumb with the index and middle finger. The arms for these could be any long-ish section of plastic. I'll try to make a sketch.
4. HARPOONS: Try to make up something similar to the harpoons for the old Beetlebacks - a spear in a gun with a chain. Of course, the 2 arms could also be different e.g. harpoon plus burner.
Sketch later.

Good point. That'd definitely be much easier as I wouldn't have to worry about getting the two weapons to look alike then. I do have an old Snapper in my bitz box but i'd like to same that for a CC gargant at some point. Maybe just construct some sort of a giant flame thrower then. I had an idea for a Klaw using one of the E40k Battlewagon CC bitz which shouldn't be too hard. *moving off to the workbench...*
Thanks.
Cheers!
