Hi,
after comments that my Gargant wasn't very orky were thrown at me by a friend this morning, I decided to repaint it today. So, still with a bit of work to do, and running under the working-title of "Da Bigg Red" (subtle ), here he is so far.
"Wuts Kamoflajj?"
"It don't go no fasta tho!"
Took the photos so that I could play with some designs on the white strips in Photohop, so it's not the best quality. Am probably going to paint the strips in black and white zig-zags, that seems to look better than checks so far.
I've also taken the collapsed Warhound I posted a while ago off it's base so I can repaint it and rebase it a bit better. Pics soon.
Cheers, Freshmetal

Spent some time "at work!" reading, Swordwind and Bo5A rules. Both pretty interesting! ?
Any word "on the streets" about Feral Ork releases?
I like the new models. - Had a thought for Sappers figs for the Siege Troops... the GZG 6mm NAC Infantry would work well, I think. - May have to buy some in the future... - Like I need more stuff to do!

Hi,
@L4, I think the Feral Ork stuff is coming out as planned over the next few months. When the Eldar stuff in the advance order pages is released, the Feral Ork stuff should replace it. I suspect it'll be in two parts too, troops and light stuff first, then the larger stuff after. They might release it in a different way, there's no way of telling with GW anymore.
On the painting front, I've completed enough Orks now to fill an A4 size box (enough to cover a Fanatic mag for peeps who don't use the British paper-scale. ) by finishing the Big Gunzmob and the Gargant. The Goff Stompas are just having their details painted on (I'm writing this as the paint dries), then they'll be done too.
I have begun to paint the first few Bad Moon stompas and an ES Blitz Brigade, so they'll get done next. I am hoping to get them finished and clean up some of my Crimson Fists so that I can get photos by the end of this week, but no promises.
Cheers, Freshmetal

Quote (iblisdrax @ 11 2005 Mar.,22:54) | Got my Platformer sets that I ordered from Urban Mammoth yesterday. ?Very nice sets, well thought out, but alot of assembly to do. ?And Hideously expensive, especially shipping to here in the US. ?I will shoot some pics when I get them done. ?

Hi all, I've got seven pojects underway at the moment - and if you exclude the old postgrad, there's: 1 - Mordheim Averland warband 2 - WHFB Empire army (includes the Mordheim types) 3 - WHFB Vampire counts army (for moments of indecision - replaces 2 above) ? 4 - Epic To6G Squats AND BFG fleet 5 - WH40K Chaos cult army (with a difference...) 6 - Gothicomp entries! I'm planning 4 of these, far smaller than originally intended, but time...as usual...
Prioritising, the Gothicomp entries would have to be first - closing date SOON! Together with this months To6G stuff, of course....
And unless you want my weirdo entries (think Hula dancer, only worse...) to be numerically significant in the comp (but poorly ranked, unless only the insane vote), post YOUR entries before it's too late! The Imperium (hivemind, chapter, craftworld, cabal, Waaagghh, Chaos god, C'tan, Greater Good, Great Ancestor or whatever) needs YOU! END OF GOTHICOMP SPAM SESSION! ? It's for a good cause, anyway, right CS? ?

No miniature work through the weekend. Castlevania: Aria of sorrow (via emulator), Arcanum: Of steamworks and magick obscura & some Hammerfall gave me a bit of much needed relax and regeneration.

You Da Man Krooza, pity the poor fool that has to face that lot
Started painting my Imperator, hopefully will get an hour or so this evening and get some more done. Really have to organise what I have and get a playable army together, not that there is anyone to play
