Hi,

Thanks for replies, I'm happy with the way all these turned out (although the pics aren't great). The madboyz on Buggies was simply a way to represent Trukks rather than cutting out loads of bits of card to alter the buggies themselves.

One of my friends has just brought over Fanatic 9 btw. Not much Epic stuff other than a reprint of the Eldar painting guide from Swordwind, with guides for Wraithlords and Jetbikes added. Shall give the rest a read and report any findings.

For anyone who is interested, the contents are...

BFG Necron Tactics
Elfheim Ealges BB playbook
Elf Playbook part 2
Painting Epic Eldar
Inq Scenery workshop
Another Inq article about followers I think
"Tales of Stirland" Mordheim
Scavvies for Necro
"Building a Warmaster Ship"
BO5A batrep
and all the normal stuff in between.

Cheers,
Freshmetal

Been painting the hull of the first of my magnetic BFG cruisers, the one ruined by bad spray undercoat. I'm using this and the second cruiser to do a little experimenting with colors.

Almost done, I'll just add a few highlists on the prow banding with a gold drybrush. Just for laughs, I then had another look at the pics of Warmaster Nice ships.... needless to say, I shouldn't have, now I feel all depressed :p

Ah well... I can't paint to save my life, but I have other talents :;):

My landboard deck is coming together very nicely- I removed it from the fomer today and cut the basic curves. Lots of sanding and smoothing planned for tommorow! :D

I'll post some pics if anyone is interested... ???

Played 3k Nids vs SM Saturday, Marines winning simply by capturing 2 objectives to the bugs 0.  Also, the nid player was very inexperienced.  Next game , I promise, I will remember the camera!

My arm is almost good now. Only causes some discomfort in extreme positions.

Back to painting. Done with the body of the Bit-Marine, the arms will take a little more time (they are only undercoated so far). Began working on the details of the Heavy Bolter. Crosshairs display will take a bit of effort to do.

Ran out of my glue supply. Ouch. Gotta buy some, and fast...

Thanks for the intel L4. Get well now ya hear (even though it may sound like an excellent way to lose weight... ???  )

I've paint stripped 2 SM1 era Great Gargants which just arrived in the mail. Nice models thhough some pparts and most of the weapons are missing. Not a big problem though: bring out the Greenstuff and plasticard. :D

Hi,

Was up into the wee hours of last night working on my new BKC stuff. So refreshing to start a new game and get new minis to work on. :D Everything was undercoated white, basecoated Desert Yellow and washed with thin Chestnut Ink. The whole army looks like Tuffskull's "Desert Ferrin" at the mo. :D

Today I've begun work on renovating blastmarker.com, ANOTHER new design and layout (but this one is far better). Am gonna wait until all of the pages are done before I upload, but it should hopefully be ready by the weekend.

Cheers,
Freshmetal

Hi,

No more progression on any minis this evening, but I have rebuilt my web site completely now and it's far better than it has been. I still have a few things to decide on, and a lot of Ork tactics to arrange, but hopefully I will upload it tomorrow rather than at the weekend.

Cheers,
Freshmetal

I received a Mand O'War Empire fleet from eBay and it is distracting me from my Squats.

You sure the, um, thing was a daemonette and not a plaguebearer?  :p

We have finally had some pretty nice winter weather up here. Sunny days with -5 to -15 degrees C. And the spring is indeed coming; the sun does not set until after 1800.

Oh, and I have finally managed to start some form of excercise as I now play badminton once a week. Not much but it's a start.

& its arrived this week ?:D

Its not at all what I should have been painting, but its the first piece thats really been for myself in a long time, so I guess its worth putting up here, Thorin

Still needs work on the metals & basing, but I'm quite pleased with the greens & face on the guy on the right.
More pics went up on my workbench with the update yesterday. ?:blues:

(edit: it would help my links if I learnt to spell my own URL correctly - workbench link now works.... )
