Thanks guys!
Great Job WMN. I painted that Dragon for someone years ago for some $ A nice model alright! | Yeah, it really is a beautiful sculpt. Considering that the model is almost 20 years old I think it is an amazing piece of work. It certainly has been a pleasure to paint.
Cheers!

Well apart from seeing Episode 3 of course....
Been doing some research for a game to play with the kids. ?have settled on "Saurian Safari" - a Dino Hunt genre game which I'll use the existing collection of plastic Dinos and have ordered a half dozen 28mm Adventurer/Hunter types to hunt them down around the lounge room floor. Could be good fun! ?
Doing my part to grow the next generation of gamers, and to have live in opponents!

Have you checked out SJG?
They have a dino game.
Also, Irregular has some game called "Tusk" that I've heard good things about although I haven't seen it in person.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

GREAT Dragon, W/M ! Wow !!! ?My gaming buddy is giving me a huge list of stuff from the phone book size G/W '04-'05 catalogue,on Sunday to order for him. So last night I had enough new E:A Eldar to order + bitz to get 0 post. Ordered Y/King, S/Sprears, F/Drag & D/Av, Rev Sct/Titan, Scorp., Cobra and another W/wind & Hunter pack to get a det. of each. Will order the Firestorm, S/Serpent and Void Spinner on Sunday with my buddie's big list. I ordered some bitz too, 2 old Blood Thirster heads thay looks like the "Alien" head. ?I'm going to try to put them on my 'Nid Titans (those head suck) ! ?I also ordered a W/M Mage, to make a statue for the 15mm Aztec/Meso-America pyramid I got from Gladitor. ?The last W/D is full of jungle ruins and stuff, so got me thinking ! ?I also got some 40K Lizardman Glyphs to mount on the pyramid, too.

Thanks Maksim, I have
SJG's game is a card based one - and I really wnated an interactive crawl aorund the fllor type of game. ?We have enough card games as it is.
I have heard TUSK is OK, and you can get mini sets in either 6mm or 15mm, but I also heard great stuff about Saurian Safari so thought that soudned best. ?28mm figs are the best for kids too.
Thanks again for the tips -I'll let you know how it turns out!
Tas ?
PS WMN - Awesome Dragon matey!

A trip down memory lane...
Well allmost. I finally got to the bottom of my wargaming boxes. When scuffeling through a half empty box which had been sitting in the attic since the last time I moved I came acrosss this old piece. It is a silo/building of some sort made from a Pringles tube and one of the very first pieces of Epic Terrain I ever made. It must be 10 years old or so. Ah the nostalgia!

I love it - 'history in the home'
When I got home from living in England and upacked all my stuff in storage I had a similar experience; I found one of my first diaoramas - a Space Hulk scene in which I used power armour marines (I didnt want to waste the Termies - I needed them for games!) getting pretty much slaughtered. ?Lots of blood, guts and severed limbs - ?Good fun!

Working on a metal Mk.1 Stompa with the ^v^v^ mouth. Looking for the one with the ---- mouth ? I added some weapons of course ! Need 2 more metal SM1 Eldar and I can make a 4 stand Support Det. We still use Eldar infantry with heavy weapons. Using the SM2 Eldar Hvy/wpns trooper. We'll give them the same stats as the E:A SPT WPNs Platform. I'll send Doug some of my Eldar TO&Es, and he can post them on this site. As I promised Mojarn and a few others, a little while back. And I still have to finish my Grendel Giant Mushroom Fungi ! I finished my Grendel Obelisk, added some Eldar Decals too ! It's with my Abydos terrain set.

I thought came to me the other day (that's rare !) ... We were talking about cleaning/washing F/W Epic models. The bigger ones are no problem with soap and water. But what if we just used a paint brush and brushed the smaller ones (infantry, etc.,) with alcohol or witch hazel, wait a minute, then brush it off with water ? I may try it on the bottom of a big piece like a building and see if the alcohol affects it ... Either way I'm going to base coat/paint all the F/W with enamel spray or thinned brush on ...
