*Giggle* Sorry but in Danish "pik" is a slang word for a certain part of the male anatomy... *goes to take another shot of hormones to rid himself of such infantile thoughts...*

Hi,
Awesome horde you have there WMN. Gonna be some time before I have mine in a similar shape. I like the roks btw, I've been planning doing some myself, but they're always at the end of the to-do list.
Managed to finish the first of my KOS' today, in bright red obviously, as well as get the Boarboyz and Warbikes ready for detailing tomorrow. I got hold of WD303 this morning too, shows the new Eldar stuff and all the BO5A's boxset. Nice looking, but I still don't think I'll get it.
Cheers, Freshmetal

Glued together some WFB Chaos Marauders with great weapons. Took Dysartes advice in an earlier thread and used old Chaos Warrior halberds for conversion. Snipped off the weapon shaft and also the pointed tip so left with just a big axe head. Previously I had taken Chaos Marauders with flails and snipped off the flails, so today just had to glue on weapon head. Done 12 so far thanks to friend swapping me 3 of the old Chaos Warrior sprues- need 3 more sprues to finish the unit, so will have to add to future bitz order with GWUK Mail Order.
The first of my recent Epic Ork purchases arrived in post over the last few days. So I am going to put together a minmum sized Kult of Speed and Warband to get my new Waaagh started.
Cheers
James

I pulled myself together and painted up my last Ultramarrine infantry stands. The Chapter now stands completed with 10 full size companies in Power armour + optional Terminator 1st company. I still need to sand the bases propersy on the Battle companies but that is more of a routine piece of work which shouldn't take more than a couple of hours when I find the time and motivation. ...I also want to paint on the shoulder trim in appropriate company colours but that will be a lot of work -especially with the yellow on the 2nd company since it needs a white undercoat first... The only bit still missing are the Dreadnoughts. 15 of the constructs stand basecoated and shaded but still need the details painted on. Also the command stands for the Battle companies are only spray primed.
Well enough yapping. Ladies and gentlemen (and those somewhere in between): The Ultramarines chapter.

Hi,
yet another astounding shot Warmaster. Gives a great sense of scale on the Landing Craft too.
I've finished off a buggy/skorcha KOS, a Boarboyz KOS, 2 Dreads, 2 Kans and the first of my Big Gunz today. Starting to pull the army together nicely now. Shall get pics by next weekend.
Next up, basing the Goff and DS warbands.
Cheers, Freshmetal

Warmaster Nice, you're incredible - seriously, have you thought of publishing an Epic Calendar? You can easily fill it with great shots of your own work.

The Incoming! covers sound very cool as well; when might we be seeing the next issue?

I think it depands a bit on Doug. He felt it would be better if we collected some more material so we would at least have enough articles for two issues. The idea was to build up an "article database" so wee had something to draw from when submissions were few. Unfortunately there hasn't been an overwhelming ammount but hopefully that wwill change when the new issuee is released and we start advetizing more agressively. ...With a bit of luck we should have something ready in March.
Cheers!
