Quote (Legion 4 @ 17 2005 May,16:05) | Or using the SM2 Mekboy vehicles as battle/gun wagonz ... or Big Gunz ... or Soopa-gunz ? ?I can make up the rules but just looking for input ! ? | Hi
My plan was to use Dragsters as Trukks (small, fast & no guns), Bubble-Chukkas/Kustom Kannons/Rockits as Gun wagonz and Lifta Droppas as either Mekboy Speedstas (kult of speed army list) or Gun wagonz with Soopa-Zzap guns (ork war horde army list).
Cheers
James

Hmmm ... thanks for the input. With all the Epic models we have we're trying to limit the versions. Like all the old Battlewagons are now Gunwagons, IIRC, that works for us. So we might just make them all Soopa Gunz and the Dragsta gives a save to anyone under the template or within 6cms, something like that !

Also, converting a 40K Pulsa Rokkit into a Landa ! To go with my E:A Landa ! The AFVs for my Looted Ork Mob are completely "bitz-ed" out. Next step painting ... but there are other WIPs to be done before that !

Hi!
I think sometimes we tend to apply camoflague patterns from earth to non-earth scnearios. Its entirely plausible that a world of diffeent ecology would evolve different camo schemes.

Agreed. It is strange really but obviously our aesthetics are deeply influenced by the world we grow up in. While it is entirely possible that yellow polkadots on a pink background would be suitable camoufalge on some strange world (or in the Circus...) it just wouldn't look right to us. I guess camo is ulitmately a comprimize betweeen what is realistic, and what looks right. -we can't make the camo too good either or we'll obscure the detail of the models and make them impossible to see on the tabletop!
Cheers!
