Gamer ADD strikes again!
Now have a Constitution-class heavy cruiser, an old light cruiser, and two D7s ready for primer and paint tomorrow. Once I get those done there's only 20 more starships to go. Bought Federation Commander a couple weeks ago and the Trekkie within me has reawakened.

It is always nice to see WM stuff. I have now as first project azrael's banner. That takes a lot of time... But soon it is finished and I'm happy so far.

OK, so those four ships ended up being 12 primed and ready to be painted ships. Two each CA, CL, FFG, D7, D6, and F5s. I was really surprised at how easy they were to prep. Some models have a bit of flash but nothing out of the ordinary. The metal is a little softer compared to some other manufacturers and cleaned up quickly. Only thing I had issues with is the warp nacelles on the CAs are rather wobbly and difficult to keep in position long enough for the glue to set. Tomorrow the airbrush comes out and they get their base coats.
The minis for this game will most likely be the only ones I paint in the "correct" colors as the idea of a purple Constitution just doesn't sit right with me. I've even been watching my original series DVDs for "research" to make sure I've got the colors and window placement right. OK, so I had the colors down after the first episode, been watching the rest for the heck of it.
L4, good thing you said Chakotay. I'd been concerned if you had an inner Janeway.

Crunch, remember that you can always use those Star Trek ships with the BFG rules from this same web (i once used my fed CA as an alien escort in BFG in a shop's campaign, but that would be another history).
