Yeah, after looking over some detailed pictures of the Black Widow, I concurr.  There's simply no easy way to slap four jet engines on there without making it look bad.

Try an A10, a B52 is WAY too big for that. ?Failing that, I'd try a B25 Mitchell as the base aircraft, with A10 engines.

Oooooh, wait, just remembered that Dragon makes an Ar234 in 72nd scale. The Arado Ar234 is a WW2 era 4-jet bomber. ?It'd need some gun turrets, though. ?Maybe a mix of a B25 and Ar234?  Hmmmm... That may not work so well with the different scales.

Actually, I'm thinking about making a Marine Fighter (based on the examples of FW's planes) out of a 1/48 Lightning and 1/72 A10. ?The only problem is that Imperial aircraft are so blocky, it interferes with my modeling zen.:blues: ? The whole idea came up in a couple rants about the lack of mention of Marine air support (interceptors to keep fighters off the backs of LC and THawks, mostly) over on the B&C.

Except for one version which jhad 4 - or did that have a different designation - Ar 334?

It didn't. The two-engined version was Ar-234B while the four-engined was Ar-234C. See here for pics & tech data.

The Dragon kit is the Ar234C, the 4 engine version, anyway.  Should be about $25 US.
