Yerh its very impressive... the guy that made it has heaps of his orky work on the Blackorc galley.
That stomper is realy cool though. I wondered if it was a molded model as it just looks too good to be a scratch build. But I guess it must be :oo

LOL, I love quotes like this. EVERYTHING is scratch built - its just whether or not someone THEN moulds it. I always find it too easy to forget when I see a great conversion, that somone sculpted the original!!

To me it looks like two large pudding bowls form the main body, though I could be wrong! :-:

Which reminds me, If I didnt mention it before - epic plastic infantry were sculpted as "9-ups", I saw the masters at the trial tournament & it answered a long pondered (on my part at least) question!

Hi!

A 150 dollar decoration?

You know how much epic on the open market I can get for that?

I'll tell you what, about 40 plastic beetle back titans, thats what.

I'm close to closing that deal. I've been courting the guy for like more than a year.

So close...oh so close.....

It means the plastic models are sculpted at 9 times their final size. All mainstream plastic figures are sculpted at 3 times their final size, but with epic figs being so small they upscaled the masters twice. However, all the new stuff (meatal s & Will Haye's FW madness) is done at actual size.

Hope that helps, sorry for dragging the thread OT  }:)

Shame on you! As a penance you are herefore ordered to paint one Epic miniature to Tuffskull standard.  Oh wait, you ARE Tuffskull? Doh!

LOL, I think with all the great 6mm modellers & painters coming out the woodwork with the dawn of the new version, the "TuffSkull standard" is seeming decidedly middle of the road.
Just check Carl's site (Dropship)for painting & THIS SITE for one of the nicest epic conversions you'll see - I hereby renounce any crown I once owned  :p

So, I've moved to warmaster - I've painted 2 Elven figures & my first conversion is under way  }:)

Damn.. OT AGAIN..... I never used to.. I'm a good person really ..... 'onest guv'....

Start work on my 40K Gargant.
Ive dicided to make an Ork Gargant.
Im using the hight of the GreatGargant "13inchs" and Warhound "10.5inch" as a guild. So my Gargant should be somewhere between the two.
Making it out of card to start with... "that lovely card u get on the back of drawing pads... that stuffs great". Then Ill cover it in plastic card panels.
