And T5H, it seems to me that you'd have a good income setting up a repair shop for electronic gadgets, at least judging from the amount of jury-rigging you do...

Sure, but I'm too busy right now to jury-rig my own stuff, LOL.

Wrote reviews for last three issues of White Dwarf for Tower of Angels. This took me until 2:30 AM, as I began around midnight.

My beloved Seraphim Superior broke down. The cursed box of the Commander plastic kit fell on her and threw her down to the shelf lower. Fortunately, the damage to the paintjob is not too great, and I managed to find and gather all the mising parts. I'm through pinning the "pole" that keeps the model suspended to the base and the model, along the way removing the stupid little mound of GS on the base. Fixing the paintjob will be harder, though.

Seems like they are going to let me back in to B&C afterall. Not that I really care anymore.

I feel heavily depressed. For last several months it's been a really long way down.
Both mother and boss say that I should go to some psychiatrist and get a receipt for some anti-depressives. I think I'll listen to their advice.

Sorry to hear that you are at such a low T5H, life in general?

I've not managed anything Epic related of late, hoefully though will have something to contribute.

Getting some perscription anti depressant sounds like a good idea. I started it a while ago and it has certainly made a world of difference.
...also I heard that herbal medicine containing eseence of Perikum should have a natural depression relieving effect. However it should only be used in combination with other drugs following a doctor's perscription. When it comes to depressions the most improtant thing is to do something and not just let time pass.

Cheers! :)

Allright. I started work on the ECW Chaos Altar. Not quite sure what I'm aiming so I might re-do what I've done so far.
On the painitng front I'm working on the rest of My BFG Chaos fleet. Almost finished are 2 Slaughters, 2 Murder variants, a Despoiler and 3 infidel Raiders. The only thing missing is 6 Iconoclast Destroyers a couple of Carnages and perhaps a Hellfire.

Cheers! :)

Hi,

Other than picking up a rather irritating cold from the snowy weather, I've sent orders for the BKC rulebook, the Timecast bridge and "Ripping Yarns" on DVD. :D and I'm also working out an order for Pendraken minis for BKC. Been playing "Mercenaries" a lot today too. Excellent game and a lot of fun.

On the painting side, I've got a bunch of bright orange Orks on my desk at the moment. Trying a method I read somewhere that involves painting them with an orange basecoat, drybrushing heavily with white, then washing with yellow ink. Should be educational even if it doesn't work.

Cheers,
Freshmetal

I've been on a paint stripping spree! - finished a load of BFG Chaos escorts ready for TofG, some really old Ork stuff, and I've just put the metal bits from my Banelord in ready for tommorow....
ah, the sweet sweet smell of acetone....  :p

Hi,

Just spent the last half hour figuring out an army list for all of my Orks. I'm rather pleased to say that if I fielded all of my available units in one game, it'd be 11415 points! About 3000 is just the Warbands, another 3000 is their transports, a few thousand points worth of KOS's and Blitz Brigades, and a heap of Stompas and Gargants. Rather depressingly, I only have 3 Fighta Bommas in the entire army, so they'll be upgraded next, then some Feral Ork stuff that can be used for both armies (ie: Squiggoths and Orkeosaursus'). The 12000 mark can't be far off... :)

Cheers,
Freshmetal

Ooohh Lovely! When/if you take the entire army to the field make sure you have a camera nearby!

After working on the heretical Chaos Altar I thought I'd take a break and purge myself. Bring out the Forge World Grey Knights.
I spend most of yesterday evening washing and drybrushing until I had a tone of silver I liked. I must say that these are by far the most challenging Epic figures I've ever painted!
Unfortunately I made the mistake of spray undercoating my Terminators and Dreadnoughts :(  Even a very thin layer of spray obscures some of the delicate detail. Instead I'd recommend that you simply basecoat your models with Mithril Silver directly on the resin.
Continuing the work today I think I've reached a decent result on the Land Raiders as well. I've now begun painting the gold on the Kinghts' shoulder pads. Whew! It sure takes a long time but hopefully the result will be well worth the effort.

Cheers! :)

I dug out my little FW multipart Gamesday marine diorama last night, and have now almost finished it off....
Its changed slightly since I last showed it here, but it was a fun few hours, and I'm pleased with how its going.... :)

Just got F/M #8 ! (2 to go !)  As you know, shows some of the Eldar stuff (Not enough !)  Said it before, don't like the Revenant !  May have to do some conversion work ! I think the Av is too big !  We use the old metal SM1 Eldar Command Fig.  And may use the E40K model (SIB) ?  He's not too Big !  Would like to see more pics of the 4 SHGT and Firestorm !  Will probably start ordering the new stuff Mar-Apr-May, when it comes to the Colonies.  :;):  I'll peruse #8 more at work, during the slow time (s) !  :D
