Been improving Bloodrayne a lot. TRI left out a lot of fun speech and text, including a pretty neat "Nude Cheat" easter egg. So far I'm done with only three levels, but that's cause I am a perfectionist.
Back to painting. Some progress on the bit-Marine, he looks pretty good.

Hi,
It is done.
All 6 Warbands.
'Uge.
Orky Goodness
I've moved the previous Bad Moonz Boyz across to fill out the other Warbands, then made a whole new BM Warband with shooty Boyz. First job is to get all of the new and replacement stands undercoated and basecoated. Watch this space...
On the right of the picture is also the first four formations of my Stormboyz Korps.
Cheers, Freshmetal

Gulp! You'd need loads of Landas for all those!

Got some reply from the B&C admin... seems like whether I return or not is up to decision of the mod who gave me the last strike. This means that chances are minimal.
My old earphones broke down almost completely and they did not have any more of this type in the store... bad, cause all the other cheap ones were of heavily inferior quality, and the more expensive beyond my financial capapbilities. So, back home I searched the pile of old earphones and their parts, uncovering four of these miniature speakers and two good casings of the same type. I had some length of stereo cable left from my previous attempt and a minijack plug. Bring forth the soldering iron.
And, you know what, it worked! The earphones are in perfect working order now, altough they aren't fashionable or pretty. When I got to fixing up the stereo extension cord I put together a while back, the soldering iron decided to quite the business shortly before the last place where I had to solder... managed to get it done conventionally anyway, but it aint going to last long.

Hi,
Been into town today in the snowy weather to do a load of stuff and pick up Swordwind. It's well produced and cleanly presented. Lots of artwork, some great, some not so good. I'll have a good read through it tonight I think. Also got a couple of new brushes, paints and some glue.
I also swapped a load of old PS2 and PS1 games in for cash and "Mercenaries". Will probably be playing that for a fews days, so if I go quiet, that's the reason.
Cheers, Freshmetal

At school I'm busy making a big wooden former which will be used to compress and bend sheets of plywood into a new landboard deck.... I've spent hours sanding in the last week, but its lovely and smooth and fits together nicely now- I'll try and get some pics of it soon!

Looking forward to seeing that Storm. It sounds interesting.
I was originally going to look for a few bitz and pieces for the ECW project when i accidentially stumbled upon some home made objectiives i never got arround to painting. I thought it would be a shame to just leave them there so i gave them a quick coat of paint. ill snap a few pics tomorrow.
Cheers

Here's the objective I mentioned earlier. The pillbox is made from three square WHFB slottabases: 1x20mm sandwiched between two 25mm. really quick and easy to do.

Next up is a defence laser installation. Most of the ground work is allready done; I just need to paint the defence lasers themselves.
Cheers!
