Grand work Justiniel - and I agree with Charad, nice scheme.
Arvus - plural, Arvi, pronounced to rhyme with Harvey.....  :p

Great pics, F/S ! And the size comp. is a good idea !  The G/W-S/G vs. F/W is striking !  It's the same situation with Valks & Vults and a lot of other models ! I don't get it !  They just ca't get on the same freq ?!?!?  Oh ... and I prefer the plural of Arvus = Arvusis or Arvisi ! LOL !!

Haven't been around for a while. Hiya, folks. :D

1. Finally managed some progress on the Necron Queen project. Legs are about done and I'll be doing the GS work on the torso now.

2. Fooling around with putting together some 40k "Spirits of Vengeance" - basically undead Marines, Ghost Rider style. Mixture of parts from loyalist and traitor models, skeleton bits here and there plus naturally a lot of chains.

3. After multiple attempts and coming up with several new swear-words, I've managed to produce a correctly proportioned wire dolly for sculpting purposes. I've already got a pretty good idea what I intend for my first scratch-sculpt project too (let's just say it's an Anime character for the moment).

Playing with swapping some turrets and weapons on my E/W Buggies and Gladius IFVs + using those GZG 2mm weapons I mounted on some Rhinos previously (posted pics before!).  And even adding some on my Hoplon ? tracks ... Some will be stock, out of the bag ... others "re" or "up" armed !  I'll take WIP pics in the future ! :D

Nice work, Not much time to spare for mini stuff. ?If there was, I'd gladly be working on this:

http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/4053/entarm02za8.jpg
http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/3429/entarm03yl3.jpg

It's a 30mm entelodont, a Daeodon/Dinohyus. ?Stick any of those names into google images for an idea of the finished product.
This is a proper first step on my little dream of a range of prehistoric minis (the 10mm ceratosaur's fallen by the wayside - I decided aganst 10mm, I'm having problems with a few bits, and there isn't a yahoogroup of gamers and several TMPers clamouring for 10mm ceratosaurs :p).

How will your works compare to these ?

Just a different scale?

Don't forget to show pics when these are done.  Number 2 especially sounds interesting!

If you can bear with ones taken using a cellphone (didn't get my digicam repaired/replaced yet).

If you're interested in what it's about: The Spirits of Vengeance are an extension of something I came up in "Mark of Malal" (anyone still remembers that?  :p ). Traitor and renegade Marines who have realised what they've become - but too late to save themselves from damnation. Upon their deaths, each was approached by a mysterious being and offered a way to cheat Chaos from claiming their soul. Unfortunately for them, this way turned out to be yet another kind of damnation: their souls have been permamently bound to what was left of their physical bodies and cursed to eternally do battle against the followers of Ruinous Powers in an unending cycle of death and undeath.
And then there are some who never went traitor but hated  Chaos so greatly that they willingly accepted damnation to continue their battle against it.
You could say that's a little like Thousand Sons.  :confuse:
