Kim and I are working to finish her Eldar fleet, started a couple of years ago before we discovered Epic and it got delayed a little, but the first tabletop game that Kim ever liked.
We gave a 750pt Escalating Engagement a go and Kim absolutely smashed me.
Initially it was my Terror Ship vs her acconites and I thought it was all going well when my bombers dropped three off four. From there it all started to go wrong. All Kim's ships kept showing up but the ork backup was still far away. A fight broke out in my reloading bays when a grot slave looked at an ork mechanic the wrong way and he managed to shoot one of the pilots in the foot by accident when trying to kill the little sucker, it seemed the fight broke into a riot which would end up with me failing to reload for the rest of the game.
The Eldar got behind me and managed to cripple my terror ship before backup arrived.
My Kill Kroozer eagerly moved in but took a torpedo into the fuel lines causing a massive fire that eventually ended up gutting the whole ship.
Of course the eldar zipped back and forwards putting more torpedo's through it first.
I kind of hoped that the blazing hulk would explode and do some damage as it passed through the enemy lines but by luck didn't change.
We are kind of stuck on how to paint her void stalker. I think doing bone on the wing panels will look crappy due to its texturing pattern.
Possible ideas are:
1. Army turquoise color on wing panels, bone on main body, turquoise on weapons (inverse of other paint jobs).
2. Turquoise on wing panels, black on main body of ship, bone on weapons.
3. Turquoise on wing panels, black on main body of ship, turquoise on weapons.
Any ideas are most appreciated.

Epic- A version of the game with even smaller models that is often dominated by titans which are vehicles the size of a large building and have the ability to pwn...everything. There is also infantry, whose only function in Epic is to provide valuable traction to Titans walking across snowy paths.

Cool report. Nice looking Eldar fleet. Sleek.
I think a bone pattern on the wings looks cool. Make the deep parts darker?

Cool report  Poor orks. They never seem to perform well vs eldars.
For the void stalker, using the colors of the rest of the fleet inverted can look cool. Follows a pattern with the other ships, while making it blatantly distinct.

Battle reports are always welcome, I really like to read them (And even better if they come with some pictures as yours). The only objection is I wish it had more detailed explanations, anyways great battle report, thanks for posting it.

Things seem bleak for da' Orks lately. Hopefully i can fix that when my Orks launch!
