I'm pretty happy with them. In retrospect, I may have been a little heavy-handed with the flock, but I couldn't match the flock that was on the completed stands, so I had to add new stuff to the existing flock. I'll have to go back to the Ogres at some point and do their eyes. They're large models and, while not easily noticeable on the models themselves, the photos really highlight the lack of peepers on those guys.

They look good, so now when are you upping it to 3k? Still not sure what your general is. Maybe a Reaper mini?

It's already there, baby! I've actually got some extra points as well - another unit of Marauders, two Dragon Ogres, and two Chariots. I'm not going to paint them now though - I need to move on to finish up the Epic Orks now - less than a month left!

As for the provenance of the Daemon, I have no clue. Googleing "winged demon with whip wargame" gets an awful lot of photos of attractive women for some reason, though... I guess it could be Reaper, though I can't find anything resembling it in their catalog.

Nice job! Those look purdy! I'd say the general was a bloodthirster, but the head is wrong and he doesn't have an axe. Doesn't matter though, he looks cool. Now you have to pledge to do an IG army for the next NEAT, and you'll get another army done.

Yeah, I agree that the sword and head are off, but it looks close enough for government work. And, no - I will never finish an IG army. It is a Quixotic goal, it seems.

Dave, I don't like to spoil the look of my armies with fantastic paint jobs like most talented people. I just like the purity of bare, unpainted plastic, you know, still on the sprue...
