I did not like them at all. I think FFT is much better then the GHQ ones.

I heard the GHQ WWII rules are just an adaptation (or even a reprint?) of the old Tank Charts ruleset. I bought that game back in the late 80's and the sighting and spotting rules alone were so complex I was put off immediately.

Hi JB,

The new modern rules are supposed to be good.

The last time I played the WWII rules, I wasn't too impressed with them.

Give me FFoT at this time.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Hi!

I have them and as others have mentioned, pretty much a letdown.

I think blitzkreig commander are the best ones for WWII microscale.

Assuming one plays at 1 stand = 1 platoon scale, yes. For 1 stand = 1 squad/vehicle I'd recommend Flames of War.  Although I have yet to see what Mein Panzer is like.

Mein Panzer is my rules set of choice for 6mm WWII. Excellent rules, a nice amount of detail. Their World War II stats book covers 13 countries and over 1000 items of equipment!

There is a new edition in the works currently.

Hi!

I have Mein Panzer. It left me so-so. It is very comprehensive though.

Funny how much stuff just shows up on one's desk on a CD with no clear way to figure out where the CD came from.

Oh, I see. Well, so much for that idea; I'll just have to add it to the next month's budget.
