I guess both are far more complicated than E:A, aren´t they?? I use the E:A engine to play WWII and Modern.

Kind of. You move whole movement groups but you fire unit by unit. And the contents of the movement groups can be different each turn.
There are a myriad of different units but that is to be expected from a historical wargame.

Both Micro Armour and Micro Squad (same mini count, smaller 'figure scale', I think) are free to download from Wargame Vault.

I've had a download and skim through Micro Squad, in my searches for a 'WWII version of Epic'. Initially it seems fine, haven't stumbled across many tutnx off yet. Worst thing in the rules themselves, so far, are that everything has to be on 1"/25mm squares! (But that's 'cos I'm fond of flexible basing)

The scenario generation rules in the back, though... phew! Is there a mathematician in the house?
