Hello all, As my club continues on the Canvas eagles campaign my model building has kept up with the latest advancements in the fighter design. We are starting to see the next generation of fighters being deployed onto the battlefield. For the French the premier fighter is the Nieuport 17. This one is done in the colors and insignia of N124. If you've seen flyboys who know who they are. The Nieuport 17 were the first aircraft of that unit to carry the famous Indian head emblem. ![]() So here she is. "Lucky 14" I hope |

I really must rember to spell check the titles... Oh well I have learned a lot about model building and different model kits. This one is a Eduard kit from the Czeh Republic. At the moment I consider Eduard the best kit makers. Wonderful detial and more important to me is the ease of assembly. |

The all silver scheme made the model easy to paint as well. I usually would avoid such a all color idea but is this case I'm following history. Do you think my Cylon minis will get jealous? |

Some people have asked me how big are these models. Well I have placed one against some commonly known minis, well on this forum anyway. |

I don't know why I bother, but I do like the fact that the planes have pilots. It's just plane (pun intened) wierd to see an empty cockpit in the plane chasing you down. So we switch to support MACRO mode I actually put a gotee, but only I will ever no that. |

Wow ![]() ![]() Grand, CC - and the pilot is splendid. Those underwing transfers must be a real pain, but they turned out magnificently. The SUV does look rather too big for the road.... And I couldn't find the spot ![]() ![]() |

We played last night and we had over 20 people playing!!!! ?18 planes on the board. ? I coudn't even tell what was happening all over the board because I was in a death struggle with the leading German pilot. I did take pictures of the less hectic second game. Here a formation for Rolands head across the lines on a bombing mission. |

A Belgium Nieuport goes wooshing by as a furball developes between the Neiuports and Eindeckers. Forgive the fuzzy and dark pictures but aerial photography was just starting in WWI.... ![]() ![]() |
