Hello! :)

Well, I decided to dip my toes in the FoW waters (metaphorically speaking), and made my first purchase - the recently released British Rifle Platoon (NW Europe).  However, it is entirely for research purposes, as I need to make sure that the terrain I make will work with FoW.  And it has nothing to do with Pewter addiction, oh no...  :;):  :D

So here's my attempts at some WWII style obstacles made using cut-up sprue (is there anything you can't make out of it?).  Any feedback will be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Thanks for looking!

I'm not saying these are bad, but I'd make them bigger. Tetrahedrons (assuming that's what you're trying to model) were typically taller than soldiers.

What scale are those troops FS? I think I might have some 1/76 scale obstacles - if they've not been converted, I could send them.

Forget it, V. This miniatures are 15mm, far smaller than 1:72 (which thends to be 20mm this days). Although maybe such kind of terrain could do the trick...

The pewter stuff from Battlefront is about twice the height of the minis (although it's kinda tough to tell with the thick bases BF uses on infantry)... since I've got an american Assault Company that I'm playing in the local shop's Normandy campaign.

to be honest, though, I'd certainly play using that terrain, but I'm all for anything that is 3d, instead of flat paper counters for barbed wire and trenchlines.
