We had a strange pairing today for FOW: 1.5K for each player with Italians and DAK vs Desert Rats and Russians!

Allies won but would have lost except the DAK player go overzealous and bypassed the objective to go after the Russian artillery.  The Brits then almost won by taking an objective but the delayed and random reinforcements of course dropped a bunch of Italian L6/40's and DAK Panzergrenadiers right in place to defend it.  Brits found an alternate path to victory though by killing off the Italian company command and then forcing a company morale check.

Now he needs a hammer and sickle..

The TOG*2's clear out any resistance on the left flank:


Italian Lancias open fired first on the TOG's but failed to hit, the return fire from the TOG's was devastating!


Churchill's were killing Italians but they just kept coming:


The Italians pushed the center with mass waves of light armor and armored cars, they eliminated all the Russian infantry and punched through the Allies center.

I might be mad but surely bovington has at least taught me the silly tanks designed for WWII but on the basis it would be WWI weren't made?

But those silly WWI carry over TOG's are hellish against armor, no so much for infantry though!
