We played our Tanksgiving game today; we used Battlefront's scenario for this game and had a lot of fun.  Absolutely our largest tank battle to date.  Total game points were 10,000.  5,000 per side with three players per side.  We were just going to play with our planned four players but we let two youngsters in and provided them with 1,000 point armies; they had fun in their first FOW game too.

Axis were attackers and had DAK 2,000 points; DAK with 2,000 points; and of course DAK with 1,000 points.

Allies had Desert Rats with 2,000 points; US with 1,000 points; and Russians at 2,000 points.

No detailed blow by blow batrep; there was too much going on all over.  But the Germans started strong but were soon repelled by the Allied defense and driven back until their defeat.  The Allied defenders were allowed an ambush platoon per player: the Russians used their KV's to ambush and destroy the sole Tiger and inflicted heavy casualties upon the accompanying Panzers.  They were supported by British Churchill gun carriers and Brit Shermans - this turned a flank and really dealt a hard blow to the Germans.  The US player used his ambush on an entire platoon of Shermans and help secure the center of the battle.  Brits used their TOG*2 tanks to repel Stugs and Panzers that were pushing our right flank.

The game ended in an Allied victory with one of the larger German players being completely wiped out and the others under heavy casualties.  Allies were in control of the four objectives used and racked up other VP's for destroyed enemy armor platoons.

Now onto the pics!

Unfortunately mine is the only painted army of the lot.  The others are WIP and have been so for a long time.  The Russians were not even glued together, LOL!
