Hi! Very recently a magazine from Spain published a set of rules for using FOW rules to fight battles in the spanish civil war. I'm sure an english version is on the way (if it has not been published yet):



Also, there are coming some "What if...?" articles about a possible spanish participation in WW2. Curiously enough, it seems that they will cover the whole specter of possiblities (i.e., Spain joining the Axis or the Allies, american airborn troops falling over Madrid, Russia "freeing" France then continuing with Spain (& Portugal)... The first one goes about the possibility that General Mu?oz Grandes(the one in command of the Blue Division) had taken german's advice to try to take control of Spain, but failed to do so, thus sparking a (second) civil war, in which german divisions from Vichy France enter the peninsula





At last i will have something to do with my maltese-painted spanish FOW army! :laugh:

Yes, 'Wargames: Soldiers and Strategy' has made it over here (UK). I think that it is every two months over here.

Sounds like a logical extension.

Spanish Civil war has been something on my interest list for a while, but never had the time to do anything further with it so far.

Hmmm... time to go hunting for that article.  SCW could be enough different to get some interest back into FOW at the store.
