The first German reinforcements arrive when a small platoon of Stugs move behind the far right Soviet tank company. Thier arrival while first greeted with great joy by the defenders of Corn hill soon turns to the sounds of agony as they manage to destroy only one T-34. The remaining Soviets tanks take a risk and simply turn their turrets onto the attackers in a hope to elimate the threat quickly. If they fail The T-34's weaker rear armor will be exposed to the Stugs again. |
