I saw a couple battle reports over on the Miniatures Page using this rule-set, and it looks pretty interesting.  No micromanagement possible, at least not without the loss of the Corps commander as an effective Corps commander.  Here's a link to a review of the game from a retailer.

Game is set up at 1:50 figure reduction, with battalions as the smallest individual unit you'd see in the game.  1"=50m groundscale.  You give orders to your Divisions, and then they execute them.

Anyone else tried these rules?

Interesting, sounds good, but I haven't played with them...

Actually last played Napoleonics using Napoleon's battles -- a nice clean system, but that was a good while ago.  Interested in Grande Armee and other rule written for a Grand tactical scale.

There's also a Nappymaster port for Warmaster: fairly well received, it appears.

That sounds interesting. I would love an excuse to use some of the Baccus 6mm stuff....

NappyMaster II was the sole reason that I picked up Warmaster Ancients. I havent tried it out yet as I dont have the minis for it, but the rules look really good. They are available for download from the WMA Yahoo Group.

Is Nappymaster related to the 4 part Napoleonic adaptation that was included in Wargames Illustrated several years ago, or is that something different?
