Date: Saturday 23rd of February Venue; Worthy Games, Preston, PR1 1DD. My favoured parking is in the bus station car park about 5 minutes walk from the shop and parking is £4.00 for 12 hours. The event is 3 games on the day with armies a basic 1,200 points to which players can add an extra 100, 200 or 300 points per game. Points scored; the points of your opponents units you destroy plus a bonus of 600 for a player who wins a game. I will try to match up so that players from the same club will not play each other in the first round, after that it is the Swiss system. Armies; Anything from the rulebook or Ancient Armies. I know that the Warmaster website has a number of new, player written army lists available and if you would like to use those just ask me if they are OK to use. If I agree, then that list can be used. Number of players; limited to 8 if we stick to 6 foot wide tables, we can do 12 if we go for 4 foot wide. Any thoughts on table size? Players entered so far 4; Jason Stokes (TBA), John Holroyd (Sassanids), Lee (Parthians) and Dave (TBA). I will update the entrants and their armies on my blog page. Its free, Worthy Games are not charging us for the hosting and their are no prizes, just a bit of gaming. |

I am afraid to say the latest news is that Worthy Games is closing this Saturday - so please don't try and go there expecting a game! |
