This could be good - not played Total War since medieval, and loved Shadow of the Horned rat, so hoping it can build on that.

Somehow I get the feeling it won't be as brutally hard as the Russian made Warhammer mod to Medieval 2. Also interesting which time period they will choose what with the end times.

Last Total war I played a lot of was Rome if I am Honest. Dabbled in a few other but nothing with big hours. As long as they combine the turn based map sections with the RTS of the battles this could be good. If they strip out the turn based bit it may not be so fun.
Battlefleet Gothic is coming out as an RTS as well
