Hey guys. A couple years ago, I tried Malifaux with a few people. However, we soon realized Just how unbalanced and rock/paper/scissors it was, and people lost interrest after a couple games. I've come back to see they have a second edition, and I wonder if they've fixed these issues? I really like their miniatures; I WANT to like it, but not sure I can =P Do I know someone who plays it, and can give a short rundown? I've already got Decemberist and Viktorias crews. Looking for a well-balanced narrative game. |

It's a fun game played in the right spirit. Wyrd till can't seem to get stuff out in a timely manner. The rules have some balance issues, but way less than 1st ed. |

I play it a lot. And have found second edition a big improvement over first. There is a lot less rock paper scissors matchups now. One thing to note of in particular with eth boxed sets you picked up is that the majority of the Viktorias box ignores the armour in the the December box that they rely on for their durability however there are a awys that disavantage can be mitigated without too much effort |
