![]() MAYHEM has been expanded... but not like you might think! The material that was originally going to be released in a separate expansion has been integrated into the original documents. There are a few reasons for this, but in the end it means one thing. Players that already own the game get the new material completely FREE of charge! Just return to Wargame Vault and download the updated files. So, what's new in the expanded version? Here are a few highlights: -There is a completely new characteristic added to the base unit profile. -New unit designations are now available including fast cavalry, hordes, and swarms. -Rules for war machines, artillery, direct and indirect fire -Build restrictions lifted on behemoths -Magic rules in the form of sorcery are present and include spells like blink, magic missile, summon, and time stop. That's just a sample of what's inside. Download your updated copy today to check it all out! bombshell games |

Just googled his folio and got to say Bombshell picked one hell of an artist! Really impressed and fantastic 'fantasy mass battle' style! Would like to give Bombshell Games big props in general for their presentation! Both for the company site and Mayhem! I haven't jumped into 6mm fantasy yet (so much Epic to finish, hehe) but Mayhem is definitely my first choice on the market, even if it's so far purely based on the professional presentation! |

A lot of care goes into all the products, and it's nice to know that it doesn't go unnoticed. ![]() MrGonzo wrote: I haven't jumped into 6mm fantasy yet (so much Epic to finish, hehe) but Mayhem is definitely my first choice on the market, even if it's so far purely based on the professional presentation! Well, I may have something that your Epic minis could be used for in the 'not-too-distant' future. ![]() |

I just wanted to chime in here and say how much I really like this system. I've played several test games, and I've finished one army and started two others at 10mm to lure unsuspecting players into the game. The rules are simple to understand, but offer a surprising amount of tactical depth. Building your army profiles is great fun as well. I'm eagerly awaiting the campaign rules slated for release with mayhem complete.. I think it's going to be an incredible ruleset. |

Tactics definitely rule the day and as you log in more playing time there will be a wealth of in-game options, tactical layers, and playstyles that will reveal themselves to you. I think you'll find that the game grows with you. And I know what you mean about building army profiles, that's a bit of an addiction for me as well! ![]() Quote: I'm eagerly awaiting the campaign rules slated for release with mayhem complete.. Just downloaded this a few days ago, looks great! Not played a game yet, but on paper these look perfect - balanced, simple but with lots of different playstyles possible. The fact you can use whatever models you own is a nice bonus. :-) One addition I could see being good with be Army traits you could apply to a whole force( I.e moving through woods for Wood elves or magic resistance for dwarves). Could be good for next expansion? |

That's a good idea. ![]() The STRONGHOLD expansion material is very close to being complete, and it will be available as a free update to anyone that has already purchased MAYEHM. Alongside the siege and advanced terrain rules, it's going to introduce some new traits, abilities, and unit types. Once that final release is out there with all the moving parts in place, the plan is to release some pre-constructed army lists for players to use if they like and many of these lists will have army specific abilities and/or traits. |
