Our second game we swapped sides and went with an all frigate match!  This was just 9 points per side; a total of 9 frigates for each of us.  This game had calm weather but we fought at night with maximum sighting distance of 16"


The Dwarves just steamed ahead and maneuvered between the rocks.  The Humans did the same but the two flanking detachments turned their broadsides to the enemy and let loose with the first volleys of the game, little damage was caused.



The Dwarven turrets with their 360 arc and slightly higher fire capability began to take their toll:

We did a lot of sailing around the rock formations and exchanged volleys.  Many of these were stern rakes and the casualties accumulated quickly for the smaller ships:

Near the end the Humans were facing twice as many Dwarven vessels but were stubborn and continued the fight and sent more enemy ships beneath the waves:



But in the end the last Human frigate was sunk and fell prey to ramming:

Another thrashing by the Dwarves....are they really 33% better?

In an all frigate battle I would say they are.  Their gunnery is slightly higher than the Humans and that 360 fire arc is pretty sweet.
