Nicely painted Charad, and nice ships too though to look at it the Eldar flagship seems to be missing a mast in the middle.

So how about a review of the rule system and play?  I've been looking and considering a purchase  :wow:

Yep, I'm planning on it... So it will come eventually. Just our game has been delayed due to normal life issues... :_(

Nice. :)  Dwarves seems popular, I think I'll order them too when other starters are painted. :) Share your experience when you manage to have a game or two. There is also new ships coming and a nice looking elven race, and hopefully they come soon.

I got my stuff today; the ships are beautiful!  Top quality castings, much better than productions sent out by another company.

My FLGS has the rules and starter sets in... If I wasn't such an impoverished college student, I'd pick up some dwarves.  For some reason, I just love those ironclads! (maybe ask the folks for a christmas present)

The Iron Dwarves are the cheapest fleet pack anyway!

I finished reading the rule set today, I like it.  I think this will work just fine, hopefully have an intro game this weekend too.

Tragedy and a silver lining:  I was carrying Human and Dwarf fleets in an open container to my garage and accidentally dumped them out onto the tile floor!  Needless to say there was resin carnage involved :(

After mush puzzle work, some bondo work, and primer, things are looking much better now.  The only real loss was one Dwarf frigate that the entire bow is just gone!

But I have decided to get another Dwarf fleet, cut down some of the frigates to go with the surviving turret from the damaged frigate and create some Anvil heavy cruisers!

Sad to hear that.  I have found that they are really sensitive to impacts, perhaps most shattering resin I have ever seen.I'm waiting for those new models too and really I have to buy all fleets, the are just too nice to pass up. I'd love to hear more from your games too. :)

The current D6 generation pod cast has a detailed review of Uncharted Seas. Having listened I'm now tempted to get yet another game  :sigh:

Yep, me too. Just listened to that episode, and looking again at the game. I initially decided against getting into it - too many other games already, and it didnt hit my game buttons (card system, uninspiring minis, not much detail). But, it is difficult not to get caught up in the enthusiasm for this game... and I dont have a Fantasy naval game in my armoury yet... and a fleet is quite cheap... and easy to paint up...

My first thought was the Dwarves as well, but after looking more closely, the Dragon Elves seem more my style, or maybe Orks for the fun factor.

Must... resist...
