How do they compare in size to man o war ships?

Agree on the poiny prows bit, makes it look like a barge without it.

Yeah, it is fun. :) I fell in love those pretty ships straight away.. :p

Here are some orcs for you. Lights are bit off, so others failed.. (sun sets so early at this time of year).

Battleship and frigates:

And close-up of a frigate (with correct colours...)

I really like the colours youve used on the Dragon lords ship Charad - very nice.  The wood colours look great and the subtle sail colours are very effective - well done!

Are the Dragon Lord ships Sails separate pieces? I think they would fit nicely in Battlefleet Gothic Eldar fleet!

I see them too organic for my taste (maybe the eldar tamed the tyranids in the end?).

Just wanted to ask which companies you know which sell Man O'War style ships. I recently discovered this one:

http://greenforesttradingco.com/products.html

Which seem to sell lizardmen and undead fleets. They seem more in scale with those old MOW models than the ones from Uncharted Seas. By the way, do you know of any company which sells old japanese ships (atakabune and the like) for this scale?

BTW, Vanvlak, hope you are happy with this kind of "renaissance" of fantasy naval games.

Impressive resin casting on the part of Spartan.

Excellent paint jobs on your part.

Yes, sails are all separate pieces. I'd like too see what you can invent with them. :)

I agree, Spartan's resin casting is great. :) And thanks Tas and otterman... Hopefully I soon manage to have a game or two, so I could write something from it.

Van, you live on a island, so you could never have too many ships. :p
