Sounds good.... I love the fleet carrier concept.

I love the turrets!

Oh, mr. Otterman sir, you don't happen to have any of those turrets? Or, more specifically, pics of those turrets beside, say, a Leman Russ?  :;):

As mentioned in another thread, I'm going to Ravenstar's studio on Saturday to pick this ship up.

Then I'll pour the first half of the mold that afternoon, the other half on Sunday afternoon, and perhaps make my first copies Monday.

Oh yeah, those turrets. I do have some, and they're whopping large. This weekend when I'm taking pictures I'll pose one next to a stunt rhino. They are probably suitable for a Warlord titan carapace.

Those ships are over 15 cm long. They would be rather impressive compared to other Gothic ships!

Here she is, ready for the first pour. Chris showed me an alternate technique to reduce the amount of flash, but I felt I should use my standard techniques for the first molding of this critter. I'll experiment later.

While at home for lunch, I did the first resin pour, then went back to work. Will provide pictures this evening if the mold worked right.

The mold is imperfect. I will make another cast or two, just to have something to play with, then re-pour the worst half of the mold.

Sad Homer voice: D'oh. :(
