Ok I admit it. I a mini game whore....
I've played Battletch the longest. While I think many games have superior games systems. There is just something about giant combat walkers blasting each other with massive weapons. Can you blame me.
Well anyway I hosted my first battletch game in a while and I hope to have more as the minis get completed.
In the current "Classic" timeline the whole universe is going to heck in a handbasket. A really, really, big hand basket.
The quasi religoius-technical fanatics from the Word of Blake have unleased their war upon the innser Shpere. As part of those attacks they have invaded the capital of the Federated suns, New Avalon.
As in any great battle there are numerous smaller ones that make up the whole, this is one...
Here we see a lance (platoon) of Davion mechs assigned to defend a office complex that belongs to a defense contractor and the accompanying warehose. Perhaps this enginneers and scientist are working on a important project that may help in the defense of the capital planet.

It's remote location not enough to hide it. The WOB mechs are given thier target. Capture the building.

The faster elements of the WOB units move in close to provide C3i information the heavier elements of their unit.
The Davion Battlemaster and Templar move out to confront them, but quickly discover that the WOBies have the advanatge because of their network.
The Battlemaster tries to take out the Ostscout providing the information.

The WOB Ostscout moves deeper into the town seeking shlter from the heavier mechs.
Unfortuately the pilot wasn't up on this intel and didn;t realize that the Jagermech he had jumped behind had the ability to flip it's guns on him.
The Ostscout took a severe beating.
