We dusted off the 1980's FASA Star Trek Strategic Starship Simulator for a game. Three of us played today, all played back in the 80's but have not played since! So it was a blast from the past!
You could say we were a bit rusty!
Player 1 (Federation Reliant and Constitution MkII)
Player 2 (
Me - Federation Enterprise MkII - used an Excelsior model though)
Player 3 (a pair of Klingon D-7M)

I was stuck between a rock and a hard place with Klingons closing on my starboard:

And the Constitution and Reliant closing on the fore:

Opening salvos from the Klingons resulted in no hits, so I hoped his poor gunnery would continue and engaged the other Federation ships with a sensor lock on the Constitution class:

The Constitution fired everything she had and dealt some damage to my Enterprise; but the Constitution could not handle the firepower received in turn and became a adrift and listing in space as her lifeboats and pods jettisoned:

My Enterprise was not able to withstand continued fire from the Reliant along with the salvos from the pair of D-7's. My shields were at maximum except for my aft and port-aft shields which were at zero on purpose and I kept them safe from enemy fire to divert all I could muster to weapons. The Enterprise exploded under the combined firepower and dealt damage onto the Reliant and minimal damage on both Klingon vessels. The Klingons followed up with finishing off the Reliant, leaving her adrift also:

Victory went to the Klingon Empire:

Not exactly fair as a 3 way fight but we just wanted to duct off the old game. If we were more fluent in the rules, we could have run some more ships and had a 2 on 1 evenly matched fleets.
