| Post subject: | Mantic Epic Warpath |
Just a quick post to see if anyone on the forum is planning to get the new Mantic Epic Warpath release later this year? I saw a few of the miniatures at Salute last year (hoping there will be a few more demoing in a few weeks) and was impressed, and the rules in particular seem like a 'modern' quick and clean ruleset. I will be honest, I've been quite disillusioned with Legions Imperialis, which feels like some rules that a friend of mine designed at college in that they are so ridiculously granular, made in the 1980s for humanities students wearing knitwear and playing until 2am while listening to the Smiths. I'm also going back to NetEpic and Armageddon, but am looking forward to Mantic can come up with in the Epic-scaled gaming world. |
