I played a game of LaserStorm about a month ago, but didn't get it written up until this past weekend. I made some minor modifications to the introductory scenario from the book for this game. First, I didn't use identical forces. Instead I built armies around the Space Marine and Eldar army lists that I created using the unit creation rules in the book. Next, I added a 3rd objective so the game would be played until one side had earned 6 victory points. I played against myself, but I did my best to make good decisions for each side. In the end, the Marines won with 6 VP versus the Eldar's 2 VP. The Eldar had poor rolls throughout the game, so I'm sure if I were to replay this, the battle could easily flip to an Eldar win.
