This is an Online Campaign in the spirit of Games Workshop’s own The War for Armageddon, Eye of Terror, or Medusa V campaigns. In the Iurse of the White Wyrm Campaign, you can make a difference by buying, painting, modeling, or playing games related to the Aeronuatica Imperialis game system by Forgeworld.

You can find all the information you need to participate in the Curse of the White Wyrm Booklet by following the link above. The Campaign Booklet contains background, new rules, new missions, maps and more! It is a great resource for players experienced in the Aeronautica Imperialis universe and those new to the grim, dark future of aerial warfare.

The campaign will begin on September 1st, Central Standard Time and run until November 30th. To participate you can buy models, paint miniatures, build new aircraft, write exciting stories, create art or play games of Aeronautica Imperialis. You choose how you want to participate, but you will control the course of the campaign!

Thanks for your participation and good luck!

So awesome!!!

Any chance in the future working / coordinating with other groups to actually build out a mutli-game campaign setting involving BFG, Epic and AI?

Funny you mention that. I had tried that once in the past for a campaign called The Battle for Ammoriss. You can find the sourcebooks and materials here:

I learned a lot during that campaign. Including how to limit its scope, format and structure, etc. Good times. :)

Anyway, I know many of hte people dedicated to AI are also dedicated to Specialist Games in general. I was thinking of making an "Open Source" style onrunning campaign that involved all Specialist (and maybe even 40K too) systems to help shape and mold the history of a Sector in the Old Guard Stars. It wouldn't be a campaign so much as an evolving setting where the control of planets would ebb and flow as people added content such as painted stuff, conversion, batreps, and other Hobby stuff. Then once a year I would compile the details into a sourcebook for the following year to set the new stage, add units/lists, new advances rules, etc.

Just a thought I have been playing around with.

I can dig it! Another idea is to play out a specific action in a subsector of say, The Guard Stars, and each year collate and publish the story/events/etc and use it to springboard the story for the next subsector? That way you still get the benefits of focusing on a particular set of events (after all, a sector is so big that you can honestly have entire areas in wars, others in peace and not even effect each other too much unless its a conflict at the scale of an imperial crusade).

Just read through that fluff and I remember that campaign now. The part about the mined ore being dumped in orbit for some unknown reason really sparked my imagination. I hadn't realized that was your deal. Awesome!!
