OK, I have some questions for you 6mm experts out there.
This post is for a friend who is really into Classic Battletech. He came to me posing a dilemma:

With your experience in 15mm miniatures, I do have a question for you. I have seen about 4 vehicles at the Ground Zero Games site that I'd like to use for recovery vehicles. I know they are a larger scale than CBT, but since they are suppose to be big to manhandle 'Mechs, they may not be out of proportion in that roll. I'm also looking at a tracked medium missile battery to use as a DropShip killer because of its larger size. What's your advice?
I ran through a few ideas on 6mm stuff that I knew about, and promised a size comparison pic of a Battletech Warhammer standing next to one my Khurasan 15mm APCs (as seen at

He responded that he already had a few things that are fulfilling the recovery role now...(here are few posts that illustrate what he already has):

I think he's got it down! But I suspect, as much of us do and L4 is certainly guilty of, he wants more! Do you guys, in your infinite wisdom and product knowledge, have ideas on:
1. A large scale flatbed truck that could work as a Mech hauler? 15mm just HAS to be too big...what about a 10mm truck, or N-scale (1:160, right?)
2. A large dropship killer vehicle? I think the Microworld's missile launcher looks ace (

Thanks for helping out, guys.
