Once again we are proud to present the world's only 6mm Future War Commander Bootcamp weekend This is a weekend where people have the opportunity to learn FWC, improve their game, admire beautifully painted futuristic forces and find out how almost any household object can be used as scenery or troops So here are the details .... Location: Tudor Arms, Slimbridge, Glos, GL2 7BP Date: 21 & 22 May 2011 Scale: 6mm Points: 750-2000 Format: 2-3 games on Saturday and a big game on Sunday Cost: None The pub has modern accommodation, good food and decent beer and is just off junction 13 of the M5. You can attend either days or both. If any one is interested in taking part then contact me here. Saturday exercises will include Scenario 10: Hit & Run & either Scenario 5: Colonisation - Relocation or Scenario 7: Encounter On Saturday forces will be limited to those in the Book with NO Tech Upgrades allowed Scenario 10 will require 2 lists - a 750 point attacking force and a 1500 point defending force split into 500 & 1000 points Scenario 5 & 7 will require 2000 points On Sunday there will be a multi-player battle, probably Scenario 6 : Colonisation - Evacuation Each player will require 2000 points if attacking and 1000 points if defending Alternatively there will be a one against one Scenario 13: Call THAT a Cryonic Plasma weapon? This will be 2000 point encounter battle with no restriction on army list or tech upgrades other than what is in the rule book We will provide several pieces of 4 by 2, Slimbridge's version of the pointy stick, so that rule anomalies can be resolved in the car park. If you don't have any figures then we can supply them. |

Reminder that this is on this weekend for those in the UK that fancy it. No compulsion to be ther both days, it's just a bootcamp for the fun of it. |
