Still waiting on images of the gunship and Mobile Command Center (MCC) from the painter, but I figured I'd give people a heads up anyway. Released in this wave are turret variants for the existing tanks, light and power armored infantry, a Gunship, a light multipurpose tank, and the MCC. Light tank: ![]() Trout with Missile Turret: ![]() Kilgore MkII: ![]() Link to the store: http://www.microworldgames.com/index.php?cPath=15_16 I'll update the thread with the MCC and Gunship pics when I get them, probably in a few days. |

Forgot to mention, all miniatures were painted by Mike Raper, who did an outstanding job. I also forgot to post the infantry, sculpted by our very own Reaver: ![]() Power Armor: ![]() |

Power armour looks very interesting, and those are some pretty slick paint jobs ![]() |

mmmm. . . Gunships, you say? ![]() Always interested in VTOLs, though I can't say as I can find a use for the other items in the Foundationist line; A bit too hi-tech for my current gaming universe, though ideal for Traveller TL14. |

Thanks everybody, everything came out great. I think the painter has shamed me into not painting any of my own for a while. |

Hey guys, I placed an order on Friday evening last week from MicroWorld and received my box today. That's incredible turnaround!!! ![]() I picked up on some infantry, power armored infantry, an MCC, and some Pilgrim IFV's. All beautiful, clean sculpts. Very little to no flash on the infantry and none on the vehicles at all. I also have to say that the MCC is a very nice model coming from a resin cast. The cast is crisp and clean with excellent detail. This thing is a beast and it's going to look great (and scary) on the table. Also, I really have to recommend the vehicles. The pictures of the painted minis above are outstanding but, as well as they were done, they don't really do them justice. I was really impressed (and pleasantly surprised) with the Pilgrims when I unpacked them. They are awesome looking.....I can't wait to put paint to metal. Kudos to Steve at MicroWorld from one very happy customer. And kudos to Reaver also, for the excellent infantry sculpts. |

While the style of the vehicles is not along my lines of what a tank should look like ![]() ![]() |

I understand exactly what you're saying as I felt the same way about the style. But holding them in hand, seeing them up close and personal, changed my opinion. That's why I recommended the vehicles specifically. |

Thanks for the kind words! I know the designs won't be for everyone, I just wanted to release some stuff thats a bit different. That being said, my next 6mm release will be a bit more conventional in nature. |

That being said, my next 6mm release will be a bit more conventional in nature. I probably phrased it poorly - As an alien force, I would be keen on owning them, and given enough space and cash I would invest in an OPFOR of these very lovely little vehicles. My forces at present are mostly human, so are therefore conservative in style ( Somewhat ![]() ![]() So, what sort of time are we talking about before seeing this 'next' issue? ![]() |
