Hey everyone, I'm just soliciting opinions on these, they are currently at Ninja Magic for prototyping and such. There is a lot of great 6mm scifi out there, so I figured I would jump in also and try to provide a slightly different offering from other companies. I'm basically going for an ultratech/anime style. The first release will be an MBT, an IFV with two different turrets, and a support vehicle with AA, Artillery, and Missile options. ![]() |

I'm personally not a fan of anima style stuff, though if you did a range that gave me proxy options for forgeworld Tau I'd do it to be a bit tongue in cheek ![]() |

![]() Very, very nice overall design concept. IMO it is a nice change that they are much different looking than what's currently released by other 6mm manufacturers. Also, I don't believe I would have thought them to look "anima-ish" had they not been presented that way. I have never been a fan of "big/oversized" howitzer guns, so the SPG vehicle doesn't thrill me. That being said, I think I will purchase all the rest. Great job!!! ![]() I am very excited to see another manufacturer getting into the 6mm scifi "ring". |

Is Charles Oines doing the designs? |

Yup, Charles Oines of Irrational Designs. I tried to learn to use the software myself, but I'm afraid I have no head for artistic things. |

I add my voice to the praise and also hope you will provide infantry in the future releases. Lots of great infantry already but there is lack of infantry with support weapons. I believe Adler Dark Star and Command Horizon are the only ranges offering complementary infantry and support packs Templar |

Very nice! Any chance of seeing lower profile IFVs than the ones presented here? |

Quote: (thedespot29 @ Oct. 08 2009, 23:37 ) The first release will be an MBT, an IFV with two different turrets, and a support vehicle with AA, Artillery, and Missile options. Fantastic work, mate. Really, really impressive stuff. Those designs are vastly superior to most of the 6mm sci-fi kit I've seen (including the early GW Epic stuff; remember the "old school" thunderhawks?...yeeeuuucchhk!). To my mind, there's a gap in the Epic lists for an army that plays like a mash-up of Marines and Guard. I think if you played * the MBT counts as a Leman Russ (ie uses Russ stats) * the IFV as a Chimera * the AA option as a Flak or Hunter * the Artillery option as a Basilisk * the Missile option as a Manticore * their troops as Tactical Marines (15c, 4+, 4+ 4+, AP5+/AT6+)--minus the TSKNF special rule, of course--and * made it that there was no air transport or Planetfall option * add some kind of air power you'd have a different, viable and relatively balanced army to play around with. You just need to come up with a groovy name for 'em. ![]() Just my 2 cents. ![]() |

Thanks for the kind words all, the sculptor did a nice job on them. I am surprised at the infantry requests though, there are so many 6mm scfi infantry out there, I didn't think it was necessary, maybe I'll have to reconsider. @ KaJo: If these do alright I will definitely commission more stuff. |

The infantry out there rarely pleases everyone! |
