Hey guys,

Tony passed this along to me just now:

http://www.wargamesfactory.com/Announce ... x?ID=23062

We're looking good. If there ends up being more room on the sprue, what are people's priorities?

2 more Regulars
1 more Light
1 more Heavy
1 more Skimmer with 2 turret options
1 more Repair Skimmer

At this point, a set of 6 sprues will get you 2k. Not bad for $30USD. :p

The farther along this project gets, the harder it becomes for me to resist building a Necron army.  :sigh:

Also, the word from the inside is that we've got about 600 pre-orders.  400 more and we're good.

Look at it this way, DS, it's just one more enemy for your Squats to smack around.

What makes the most sense if you use them as, let us say Necron proxies :p and you use the list from Epic:Raiders?

My preference would be to add at least one, if not two, Advanced models to the sprue. Also, including the alternate torso for the Serpentines would be smart; of the two that were presented, I really dislike the humanoid torso as is (though it could be useful in conversions to make more Necron-like destroyers).

See, that's the thing.

If you buy 6 sprues and base 5 to a base you'll get:

2 Infantry Phalanxes
1 Venator Maniple
1 Eques Maniple (with 3 to a base)
1 Recon Maniple with 6 stands of Wraiths
6 stands of Immortals
6 Tomb Spyders
2 stands of Pariahs

Works out to be 2035 points and 5 formations.

So, the only reason to add more to the sprue would be to make it so you'd only have to buy 5 sprues instead of 6.

Looks very good ; I'd go with more regular deathbots (Those are the ones in the top right, right?)

Ya, there's 10 of them currently with 3 different poses.

The repair droid seems to have shrunk an awful lot...

You could probably go up to 15, 5 of each pose?

I like this much better and there seems to be a whole lot more room on the sprue to add more stuff. I'd like to see the alternate torso for the serpentine and heavy deathbots for conversions. I went in for 6 sprues.

2 more Regulars
1 more Light
1 more Heavy
1 more Skimmer with 2 turret options
1 more Repair Skimmer

For my personal use, the most critical are the Light and the Serpentine, because the others can be mixed to various extents.  Also, I'd favor going to multiples of 6 on a sprue so they create units of 6 stands with 5 sprues.

This is not a bad suggestion for upgrades, but I'd suggest a priority along the lines of (in order):

1 Light Deathbot
1 Serpentine
1-2 more Deathbots
1 Elite Deathbot
1 Skimmer body (without turrets - 4 bodies + 6 turrets is quite flexible)
1 Heavy Deathbot

Past that any combination of turrets, Repair Skimmer, or cycling back through the above list would be fine with me.
