Ah, my odyssey for 6mm games continue onwards!
It started out with:

And not much more as OGRE is all but unheard of this far from Amerikat.
But a dear friend of mine remember to have salvaged "some OGRE stuff" from one laid down shop or other. Lo' and behold!
&!

And as my latest foray (to LinCon) didn't work out to well I need a different approach.

What do the people around here think of an odyssey in 6mm Sci-Fi?
Showing of various systems in a row. Both for newly arrived and for old battle-heads.
One beat(?) each for Epic, BattleTech, OGRE, SoW, DS2, IC etc. And with as typical terrain for each as possible. (Epic is usually ruined, OGRE is devastated etc.)

Would that work?
Pro's and Con's?

I started with Epic then branched out to others ... I even have 3 ORGEs in my inventory !  I liked the SM1 rules, although half-baked ... GZG's rules had some promise too. I like some of the GZG models too, like their NAC Infantry ...  I think now the DRM/SoW and FWC rules are pretty good.  Not to mention I added DRM & Exodus Wars minis to my forces.  For Terrain, I prefer all types - Ruined, Urban, Jungle, Desert, Temples, weird flora & fona, Alien structure, ancient ruins, etc. ...   8v)

I love OGRE.  It was my first wargame love; I have every supplement ever made, and most of the minis too.

Its not as complex as some 6mm games (OK, most of them) but there are some subtle beauties to it also.

Looking forward to hearing how much you enjoy OGRE in 3D!

Ogre is a great game, with a wonderful set of miniatures. I have two OGRES, a company of Rangers and some other vehicles in my motor pool.  I'm a big fan of mixing and matching 6mm sci-fi, and, after playing SM2, Battletch, OGRE, Dirtside II and Epic:Argageddon, settled on making my own rules and background using figures from at least ten (and counting) different manufacturers!  Good luck on your Odyssey!
