Right I'm down for 10 sprues.

Thanks guys, we're 1/4 of the way there.

I strikes me as strange that there are people on TMP who aren't willing to commit to these solely because there's no pictures yet.

It also strikes me as funny that Zombies! is the first sprue close to completion. Especially given the huge number of historical miniatures.

Yeah, we're funny that way.  But I just ordered 10 sprues, so we can move this thing along!

Can't someone with at least a smudgeon artistic ability write up some concept art for them to view?

Come on, Vermis! Come on, Stugmeister!

Huh, the zombie thing is odd considering that seemingly half of all new miniatures appearing on TMP are zombies.

Zombies just broke 1000 this afternoon. I blame Hollywood Oman.

We're currently 4th, behind Zombies, French Legion and WWII Germans.

So, some brainiac over on the Wargames Factory thread dedicated to this project just has to go and say,

"You realise when GW legal spot you want to make Epic Scale Necrons they will send a cease and desist?"

Sheesh.  No sense of subtlety whatsoever.  Gee, man, no, we had no idea that GW might even consider such a thing, or that they even have lawyers.

I didn't flame him or anything, but it would have been nice of him not to throw that out there to sully the waters.  I wanted to flame him, though;  oooh, how I wanted to...

Oh, well.  Damage done.  If GW wants to jump on this, nothing we can do to stop them.

What is that guy talking about? They're not Necrons. They're Androids! Doesn't he know the difference?

Well, hopefully these 6mm Androids won't look enough like G/W's and that will end that. DRM did a whole 6mm Android Army and they didn't look like Necrons. And many of us liked them and bought'm ! And G/W couldn't say a thing. So hopefully, once the magic 1000 number is hit, these 6mm Androids won't look enough like G/W Necrons to cause a stir with those Boyz !  And BTW ... E/W is making 6mm Androids too sometime in the future.  Probably before the W/F  Androids will be produced. Since they are 4th in line behind 28mm models.  I think the W/F Boyz, like our own Tom(E/W) & Doug(DRM), are savvy enough, and will not make their androids "doppelgangers" of G/W's Chaos Androids/(now called)Necrons ... :alien:  Regardless, my 15 stands of G/W Chaos Androids, DRM Android Army and future E/W Andis will be fine as an Allied Android force ... Hopefully to be  reinforced by W/F's ... But we'll wait and see ...

I find it best to deal with people like that in a very patronizing manner. Hence my response.

You got it L4.  My DRM Androids are slated for a DE army though, oddly enough.

Well if GW do wander by I hope they notice that in 2 days various buyers have requested 320 sprue's of sci-fi androids.

Oh, dear... see, that would be dangerously close to "conducting market research", and since GW avoids doing that like the plague...

Yes, that's the great thing about E/W & DRM, not only did we get more IG types, but doppelgangers for Arbites, Squats and 'Nids, Androids and a whole other army - Lizardmen. And all can be used as you like ... like Androids for DE ! :alien:

Zombies are pretty awesome.  I may partake of some of those myself.

BTW, we passed the Germans

As fast as these are taking off, there's no way they wouldn't look for a way to skirt IP issues.

If these turn out good, I may have to trade in those fragile old Chaos Androids and get more than 10 sprues.
